Being hard on yourself can be the result of childhood trauma and how it happened is when a child copes with an unfortunately, he/she internalize the experience(s) as their own fault, bringing on a lifetime of low self-esteem and negative notions.

Most of the time, we shrug these thoughts off and preoccupy our minds with our daily responsibilities. But often, we realize the persistence of it and becomes trapped by our own self-defeating assumptions through past memories.

Try our alternative treatments and practice mindfulness today. We focus on both the physical and mental holistic wellness to improve our lives.

Here are a few suggestions for you:

Be Kind, Compassion & Grateful: Instead of criticizing yourself when you feel inadequate, give yourself a reminder that you’re worthy of forgiveness, love and abundance.

Stay Positive: Make a conscious effort to focus on the positive things in your life. Try not to focus on negative thoughts like "Bad things always happen to me"

Listen to your voice & make amends: Stop yourself, take the time to recognize the thoughts and focus on one positive action step. If it helps, journal it down.

Do fun stuff. Listen to music.
